About the Directors
Marvel Art Gallery was established in the year 2004, being the first professional art gallery in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was founded by Mr. Dhanvi Shah, who has 25 years of long experience in designing and screen-printing, began to start collecting artworks in 1996. Carrying forward the legacy, his son Chaitya Dhanvi Shah joined him in his endeavour in 2004 while he was still in his school. Having studied from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and claimed as the youngest curator, Chaitya has done many successful and innovative art shows in India. He was awarded with the ‘Emerging Entrepreneur’ by the SME’s Gujarat and ‘Rastriya Ratna Udhyog Award’ in Mumbai.
Spearheading Mr. Dhanvi Shah in his enduring vision of art, Chaitya, like his father, is equally passionate about transforming the Indian contemporary art and working towards providing a platform to new and promising talents in the art world.

Focus
Our main focus is on promoting artists in new avenues. We have exhibited over 45 shows across the country and showcased excellent artworks promoting both art and talents. Our collection includes over a thousand artworks in the form of original paintings, limited edition serigraphs and sculptures of about 85 artists.
Our business has been built with the strong foundation of the first-rate relationships we share with our esteemed investors and valuable clients who are associated with us over the years. On the completion of eight years, Marvel has been successful in leading its brand by creating awareness about art as a decorative object, an icon of cultural significance and as a form of investment in Gujarat.
OUR ORGANISATION
Infrastructure
The Gallery is spread over 8000 sq. ft., which includes a dedicated exhibition space of 3000 sq. ft. It also has its own in-house framing facility for customised framing options.

The Gallery provides finance and support to various artists for research and development for fulfilling the purpose of innovation in the field of artwork. The Gallery and the artists work together and make constant efforts for getting the best for our valuable clients.

Nominated in four categories for the National Awards in printing to be held on 15th September 2012 in New Delhi.

ABOUT MARVEL GRAPHIC STUDIO
Marvel Graphic Studio was established in 2009 with the aim to create an alternative market for affordable art in the form of limited edition serigraphs. The limited numbers, pencil signed by the artist himself and auction level quality are integrated in our primary concept.

While starting we had pledged to produce screen prints, which have the finest quality to that of auction level and at later stage, can benefit our esteemed art patrons. Thankfully, this dream is fulfilling today. We believe it’s a strong beginning.
It’s a great privilege that till date, the Studio has produced several serigraphs of great Indian art masters, like Akbar Padamsee, Shanti Dave, Thota Vaikuntum, K G Subramanium, Amit Ambalal and Ratan Parimoo.
For innovation in printmaking techniques and finest quality production, Marvel Graphic Studio won the “Print Week India Award” for the “Fine Art Printer of the Year” in 2011 & 2012 and “Quality Brands India Award” in 2012. Our serigraphs recently went in for auction at the artnet.com auction in USA. in their respective field.
For his immense contribution in the printing industry, Mr. Dhanvi Shah was conferred with “Print Bhushan” by the Offset Printers Association in Ludhiana in 2012
